Executive Council Unanimously Confirms Lorraine Merrill To Serve as Agriculture Commissioner

Lorraine Merrill has been unanimously confirmed as Agriculture Commissioner for the state of New Hampshire. Governor John Lynch nominated Merrill for the position.

Merrill received a Food and Society Policy fellowship for the year 2007-08, and is a freelance writer and has been a dairy farmer for over 30 years. She is a founding member of the New Hampshire Coalition for Sustainable Agriculture as well as an experienced educator.
