Delta Organizations Named As Connecting Young People Grantees

The Connecting Young People project, funded by the Kellogg Foundation, has created a pool of resources to support projects that are either intentionally focused on engaging young people in the community building process, or deliberately creating space within their institutions for young people in management and governance roles. This project defines young people as ages 13-30.

There are nine grantees, three of which are in the Delta (all in Mississippi) – Quitman County Community Development Organization, Mississippi Action for Community Education, Inc. (MACE), and Delta Foundation, Inc.
