The Kellogg Foundation is developing a new initiative to support new learning alternatives for youth who do not succeed in traditional school settings. Called New Options for Youth Through Engaged Institutions, the initiative will support partnerships of communities and post-secondary institutions that are working together to help vulnerable youth achieve higher levels of learning. As the Foundation examines the role of these partnerships in meeting the needs of young people, the Youth and Education is seeking promising programs that are improving youth outcomes. A new publication features six such programs. http://www.wkkf.org/pubs/YouthED/Pub3728.pdf
