Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues seeks to find partnerships with other organizations

We would like to introduce you to the Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues, a multi-institutional center based at the University of Kentucky. The Instutute is multi-disciplinary organization, created to help non-metropolitan media define the public agenda for their communities and grasp the local impact of regional and national issues, and to interpret rural issues for national media.

Created in 2001 and staffed in 2004, the Institute wants to widen the scope of our outreach and form partnerships with other organizations that foster change and growth in rural America and preserve its valuable assets. Toward this end, we hope to build an active partnership with your organization. If we can be of any assistance to your needs, please do not hestitate to contact us. We would appreciate your including us, especially our daily Rural Blog, in links on your Web site.
