As part of the Talent and Human Resources (THR) team, the talent officer role will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of talent strategy and recruitment; partner with leadership to set priorities for human capital and role development in the context of the broader strategic plan; lead and innovate around the foundation’s approach to staffing and internal capacity-building; and ensuring effective recruitment, retention, and talent pipeline development.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required and an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ related work experience in search, human capital management, human resources, organizational development or another field relevant to the position responsibilities required, and a deep and comprehensive understanding of the nexus of strategic talent development and systems change. Preferred 8+ years’ experience.
- Experience working effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Experience working in a high performing and agile organization with a team-oriented culture.
