Talent Officer, based in Battle Creek, MI

As part of the Talent and Human Resources (THR) team, the talent officer role will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of talent strategy and recruitment; partner with leadership to set priorities for human capital and role development in the context of the broader strategic plan; lead and innovate around the foundation’s approach to staffing and internal capacity-building; and ensuring effective recruitment, retention, and talent pipeline development.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required and an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ related work experience in search, human capital management, human resources, organizational development or another field relevant to the position responsibilities required, and a deep and comprehensive understanding of the nexus of strategic talent development and systems change. Preferred 8+ years’ experience.
  • Experience working effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Experience working in a high performing and agile organization with a team-oriented culture.
