Children are more likely to thrive when a love for learning is sparked early in life. Grantees in Battle Creek work to improve equitable access to quality early childhood education, where families are engaged in schools and practices are rooted in our community’s cultures and languages. We also support education throughout the K-12 system and help prepare our community for careers.
More than 90 years ago, our very first health projects were launched with the people of Battle Creek. Today, the health challenges of city residents require investments that create more equitable access to conditions that support health for everyone.
