The Center for Rural Entrepreneurship and the Heartland Center for Leadership Development have teamed to provide a professional development opportunity, “Energizing Entrepreneurs in Rural America”, April 1 to 4 at Arbor Day Farm – Lied Conference Center in Nebraska City, Neb. This training will focus on the art and practice of energizing entrepreneurs as a development strategy in rural America. This training is research based, but practically focused to ensure attendees leave with concepts, strategies and tools that can be used in communities throughout rural America.
This is a “train the trainers” school. Persons interested in developing and offering entrepreneurship related professional development training to community based economic developers should attend. The Centers will provide a complete and flexible training program that can be adapted to the attendees’ state/region. Follow-up assistance will be provided to up to four partners in developing and offering this training in the attendees’ state/region.
March 30 is a travel and arrival day. Airline flights should be taken into Omaha or Kansas City. Shuttle service is available from Omaha; however, a rental car is necessary for travel from Kansas City.
Tuition and all on site costs including lodging and meals is $1,250 per person (transportation to the site is additional).
