Since our founding in 1930, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) has been committed to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to thrive. In order to achieve this objective as a grantmaking organization, we seek to address the root causes of issues that adversely impact the lives of children, their families and their communities.
To that end, the Kellogg Foundation supports a broad range of charitable organizations of all sizes and capacities throughout the country that serve various demographics, while advancing our mission to help children and their families thrive, and create equitable communities. As a philanthropic organization, we do not engage in political activities nor do we provide grants to support such activities. Our grant to the Center for Community Change, which is an independent public charity, is to help the organization achieve its mission of building the power and capacity of low-income people, especially low-income people of color, to change their communities and public policies for the better.
