Our steadfast commitment to healing

During a week when we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, honor the ninth annual National Day of Racial Healing and begin the next chapter of our American story, we want to reiterate to our partners what our president and CEO said before election day: The W.K. Kellogg Foundation remains steadfast in our commitment to advancing racial equity and racial healing. We will continue to walk with you—and the children, families and communities we serve—fostering collaboration, providing resources where needed and amplifying your collective leadership.

Our mission calls us to advance our healing work to build connections that honor our shared humanity. This work demands courage, truth-telling and a willingness to listen and discover the shared stories that reflect our shared values; it is also essential to creating the transformative change our communities so urgently need.

For nearly a century, across 16 presidential administrations, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation has worked alongside communities and championed their efforts to create a country and a world where every child and family can lead lives of dignity, opportunity, equality and justice.

Through every era, hope, resilience and unity have been essential to our strength. Together with our partners and the communities we serve, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation stands ready to build a brighter future in which all children, families and communities can thrive.
