Why Solidarity Matters

The Solidarity Council on Racial Equity (SCoRE) draws people into the transformative work of healing and racial equity. Its members act individually, stand collectively and inspire others to dismantle systemic injustice.

Grounded in several decades of change making work, the eighteen SCoRE members are global leaders in education, business, the arts, faith-based community and news media.

Learn about SCoRE’s collaborative approach in their framework for solidarity-focused visioning, policy and practice.

SCoRE connects collective vision with collaborative action, drawing on Indigenous wisdom from throughout the world to inspire people to reach beyond familiar circles toward a common purpose. SCoRE members call on individuals, families, and communities to engage in solidarity across differences as a way of honoring our shared humanity and charting course toward a more equitable future for everyone. We all have a role to play in this effort.
