NBA All-Star Pre-Game Show features Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation

Watching the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday?

Tune in early for a special pre-game show called “Sports & Society” featuring NBA athletes Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade along with Alvin Herring, WKKF’s Director of Racial Equity and Community Engagement, Valerie Jarrett and moderator Angela Rye.

The show will explore the players’ work to create positive community change and advance racial equity throughout the U.S. It will also share more about their recently announced support and alignment with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) efforts.

“These athletes’ voices and community-based work speaks truth to the inequities facing children and families. Their efforts and involvement can contribute to healing and transformation in communities,” said La June Montgomery Tabron, president and CEO of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. “We are eager to see the positive change that emerges from our shared commitment to the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation effort.”

When & Where to Watch

Sunday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. ET on TNT. The show will also re-air on NBA TV on Feb. 20 at 11 p.m. ET.
